Meet Steinway Artist Boris Cepeda
Boris Cepeda is a Steinway Artist, concert pianist, conductor, and educator whose career has taken him from Carnegie Hall and the Berlin Philharmonie to recital stages across Europe, Latin America, and the United States. Born in Ecuador and formed in Germany, he has been based in Atlanta since 2023.
As founder and director of the European Piano Academy of Atlanta, Boris brings over four decades of performance and teaching experience to a studio built on European conservatory values. His teaching spans all levels — from young beginners to advanced students preparing for university auditions — and extends to vocal coaching, piano accompaniment, and conducting master classes.
Boris studied at the University of the Arts in Bremen, Germany, and holds the distinction of Steinway Artist — a recognition extended to fewer than 2,000 pianists worldwide. He has served as Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of Ecuador and Artistic Director of international music festivals.
A European Conservatory Tradition in Atlanta
The European Piano Academy of Atlanta brings conservatory-informed piano instruction to Buckhead in a focused, welcoming studio environment.
Private study is led by Steinway Artist Boris Cepeda and shaped around each student’s level, goals, and pace. Instruction is available in English, German, and Spanish.
Students build secure technique, musical understanding, and confidence through carefully chosen repertoire and clear weekly guidance.
The Academy welcomes children, teenagers, adults, returning pianists, and advanced students preparing for auditions, competitions, and recitals.
Admission is by assessment. When an appropriate weekly place is not immediately available, applicants may join the waiting list.
