Opus & Wine: Hausmusik Edition

Opus & Wine returns with a special edition dedicated to Hausmusik—the German tradition of making music together in an intimate, welcoming salon atmosphere. This is not a formal concert. It’s a shared evening of music, community, and good taste: bring an instrument, sing, join a chamber music moment, play the piano, or simply enjoy listening with a glass of German wine.

For this edition, the evening will be enriched by featured moments alongside our open Hausmusik format:

Steinway Artist Boris Cepeda will perform Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s Variations Sérieuses, and baritone Jacob McDonald will present a selection of Schubert Lieder—bringing the spirit of the German salon to life.

Chamber music is warmly welcomed, and several guest proposals are already in preparation—so expect spontaneous collaborations, beautiful surprises, and that rare feeling of music happening naturally, among friends.

German wine and a selection of food specialties will be served throughout the evening.

Contribution for this cultural salon evening: $150 per guest.
